GizChina reports that WhatsApp will no longer work on 49 smartphones after December 31. These smartphones include Apple, Samsung, and LG. WhatsApp’s official support page clarifies that it will only support Android version 4.1 and iOS 12 versions. JioPhone 2 and JioPhone 2.5 will also be supported. In such an event, support for operating system-based smartphones older than iOS 12 or Android 4.1 will cease.
The report states that WhatsApp support for 49 smartphones will cease in the next few days. Let’s look at the list of Android smartphones that will cease to be supported after 31 December 2022.
