Swasthya Sathi Scheme 2021

Under this scheme, all the beneficiaries will be given a health insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh per annum. This scheme has been officially launched on 30th December 2016. Under the Swasthya Sathi Scheme, there is no restriction on the size of the family. This includes from husband and wife to their parents. You will get the sum insured in this plan in 2 ways. You will get up to Rs 1.5 lakh as the sum insured and Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh will be available to you through assurance mode. This scheme is based on paperless, cashless, and smart card. Through this, you can get your treatment in the hospital with the help of just one card and the payment will be borne by the state government. All pre-existing diseases are also covered in this plan.

Under this scheme, all citizens are to be benefited by setting up super-specialty hospitals in semi-urban areas and setting up fair price medicine shops, diagnostic centers, critical care units within a radius of 50 km. Swasthya Sathi Scheme is a scheme run by the State Government of West Bengal which has been started with the aim of providing better health services to a large section of the state. - The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- Applicant should be registered under RSBY.
- The applicant should not be registered under any other health scheme.
- Under this scheme, smart cards will be allotted in the name of women only.
- Applicant should be BPL card holder.

Swasthya Sathi Scheme Registration 2021
To take advantage of the Swasthya Sathi scheme, you have to get registered in it before applying. For your information, let us tell you that this registration process will be done offline only. For this, you have to get registered through “Duare Sarkar” camps. Apart from this, applicants can also get themselves registered through their nearest medical centers. After this, you have to fill the application form and also attach all the required documents. After which all the documents will be verified and then you will get a login ID. By using this login id you can log in to the official portal and from there you can complete the rest of the process. You can also get your smart card from here.
Let us tell you that as soon as you are registered, an SMS will come with the district code and a serial number. And URN (Unique Registration Number) will be generated. You will get your smart card within a week.
How to apply in Swasthya Sathi Scheme 2021
- First of all go to the official website of Swasthya Sathi Scheme.
- After clicking, the home page will open in front of you.
- On the home page you can see some options given. Out of these, you have to click on the option of online application.
- On clicking this option, 4 other options will open in front of you. Out of these, you have to choose the option according to your convenience and after that you can apply.
- If you click on the first option then you will get the option of hospital registration.
- By clicking here, the next page will open in front of you. Now you have to fill all the information asked in the application form opened here.
- After filling all the information click on the “Submit” option given below.
- In this way you will be able to get the hospital registered under this scheme.
- If you select the second option then from here you can check the hospital registration status.
- As soon as you select this option, the next page will open in front of you.
- Where you have to enter your registered mobile number and click on the search option.
- After this the hospital status will open in front of you.
- Similarly, in the next option you will get the option of “Register for treatment outside West Bengal”.
- After clicking on it, the next page will open in front of you.
- Here you have to enter your swasthya saathi URN number, which you got at the time of registration. After that also enter your mobile number and finally click on submit.
- In this way your process is also completed.
- Through the next option you can get the application form for registration under this scheme. On clicking this option, the application form will open in front of you which you can download.
How to check name in the beneficiary list
- For this, first of all go to the official website.
- After this, from the options given on the home page, you have to click on the option of “find your name”.
- After clicking on it, the next page will open in front of you.
- Now here you have to enter your mobile number and OTP.
- After that click on submit button.
- Now the desired information will come in front of you.
