Bharat series: The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has released the notification of Bharat series for new vehicles. Under this rule, new vehicles will have to be registered in the BH series. The maximum benefit of this series will be for those vehicle owners, who keep moving from one state to another in connection with the job.
By taking the registration number under Bharat series, those vehicle owners will not need to take a new registration number on moving to the new state and if the vehicle owner shifts to another state under the new system, then he can easily take his vehicle.
Benefits of BH vehicle series
The Bharat Vehicle Series will benefit the central government employees, army, and other people who often move from one state to another in connection with jobs and work. After the implementation of the BH Vehicle Series, these people will not have to take the registration number again and again for their vehicle. All these people will be able to drive their vehicle in the new state only with the old registration number.

The format of BH registration has been kept as YY BH 5529 XX YY, in which the year of first registration BH – Bharat Series Code 4 – 0000 to 9999 XX Alphabets (AA to ZZ)

MORTH release notification
Under the BH series, motor vehicle tax will be levied for 2, 4, 6, 8 years…. This scheme will facilitate the free movement of private vehicles when they are shifted to the new state. Motor Vehicle Tax will be levied annually after the fourteenth year which will be half of the amount previously collected for that vehicle.
