Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Shramik Rojgar Yojana is started by Jharkhand state government to provide employment to the poor people of urban areas. Under this scheme, employment opportunities will be provided by the state government to the migrant laborers who have returned to Jharkhand in lockdown due to corona virus from different parts of the country. It is a 100 days job guarantee scheme to provide employment to urban unskilled workers like Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS).
Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Shramik Rojgar Yojana 2021
Jharkhand Chief Minister Shramik Rozgar Yojana will prove to be helpful in removing unemployment in the state. Through this scheme, every beneficiary will be provided with clean drinking water, first aid, and child care facilities at the workplace. Recently, various new schemes have been started by the state government. Through all these projects, works like infrastructure development, road construction, tree plantation work, park beautification, and cleanliness drive will be done. For which workers will be required.
Unemployment allowance will be provided if employment is not available
Work will be provided to the workers within 15 days of registration. If not, they will be provided an unemployment allowance. In case of employment is not received within 1 month from the date of issue of the job card, then the beneficiary is eligible to receive one-fourth of the minimum daily wage as an allowance in the second month. The unemployment allowance becomes 50% of the minimum daily wage in the third month and 100% thereafter.

Purpose of Jharkhand Chief Minister Shramik Employment Scheme
Due to the lock down, the laborers of Jharkhand state who were stuck in other states due to work have come back to their homes, but they do not have any employment their livelihood, in view of all these problems, the Jharkhand government has started Jharkhand Shramik Rojgar Yojana. Under this scheme, the migrant laborers who have returned to the urban areas of Jharkhand, who do not have any employment, should be provided employment by the government so that they can support themselves and their families. The main objective of the Jharkhand government is to provide employment to all the migrant workers in their states.
Benefits of Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Shramik Rojgar Yojana
- The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the migrant laborers who have returned to the urban areas of Jharkhand.
- The government is giving 100 days of employment guarantee to such unskilled laborers who are in urban areas. Like the MNREGA scheme, this scheme will give 100 days of work to the people in a year.
- Under this scheme, if any laborer is not able to get employment, then he will be provided unemployment allowance by the state government.
- Under the Jharkhand Chief Minister Shramik Rozgar Yojana, job cards will be provided to the migrant laborers.
- This scheme will be conducted by the Urban Development and Housing Department through the State Urban Livelihood Mission.
- For Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Garib Rozgar Yojana 2020, every migrant laborers have to apply for the job through online / offline method.
- Workers will be given one-fourth of the minimum wage as allowance for the first month. After 60 days, half the wages will be given to him. Then after the completion of 100 days, the worker will get full 100 days of wages as allowance.
Eligibility of Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Shramik Rojgar Yojana
- Applicant should be a permanent resident of Jharkhand. He should be living in urban areas from 1st April 2015.
- Under Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Shramik Rojgar Yojana, the applicant’s age should be 18 years and above.
- Applicant should not have MNREGA card in rural areas.
- Daily wage workers, staying in government shelter, for the last three years will be eligible for the new scheme.

How to apply for Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Shramik Rojgar Yojana

- After this, the application form will open in front of you, you will get all the information asked in this application form such as address, district, urban local body, ward, pin code and the name of all the members who are willing to make job cards in the house. , Date of Birth, Gender, Aadhar Number and Mobile Number etc.
- After filling all the information click on “I agree to above declaration / I agree to above declaration” given below and the given numbers have to be filled.
- After filling all the information you have to click on the submit button. You can complete your application by clicking on this “Submit” button. For the application of the scheme, you may also have to upload a residence certificate, which shows that you are a resident of the Shari region of Jharkhand.
