Sumedh Mudgalkar was born on 2 November 1996 in Pune, Maharashtra. He completed his schooling at Sinhgad Springdale Public School Pune and did his graduation in Economics from Maharashtra Institute of Technology Pune.

Sumedh was very fond of dance since childhood, he also learned dance online. In the year 2012, Sumedh participated in the Marathi dance reality show Dance Maharashtra Dance and in 2013 he participated in season 4 of Dance India Dance Show, he also reached the finals of this show.

Sumedh started his acting career with TV, he started with V channel’s Dil Dosti dance show. Then Sumedh was cast in the 2015 Indian historical drama Chakravarti Ashok Samrat in which he played a negative character named Yuvraj Sushim.

Sumedh Mudgalkar debuted in films in 2016 with a Marathi film Ventilator. After this, he also played the main character in the Marathi film Manjha.
