Puneeth Rajkumar was an Indian Kannada actor, background singer, TV celebrity and film producer. Puneeth Rajkumar died on 29 October 2021 due to a heart attack. Puneeth Rajkumar, colloquially known as Appu, worked mostly in Kannada cinema. He won the National Film Award for Best Child Actor for his role in Ramu. He also won the Karnataka State Award for Best Child Artist for Chalisuva Modagalu and Yeradu Nakshatragalu.

Early life of Puneeth Rajkumar
Born on March 17, 1975, Puneeth, popularly known as Appu, was brought up in Chennai. His father’s name was Rajkumar and mother’s name was Parvathamma Rajkumar. Rajkumar’s father was an actor by profession and his mother famous Kannada star Parvathamma Rajkumar was a film producer and distributor. He was the fifth and youngest child in their household.
Apart from Rajkumar, he has two brothers named Shiva Rajkumar who is an actor and singer by profession and his other brother’s name is Raghavendra Rajkumar, who is a film producer and actor. Apart from this, he also has two sisters Lakshmi, Poornima in his family.
When he was only 6 years old, his family moved to Mysore. His father introduced him and his sister Purnima to the industry and used to bring them along on the sets. His elder brother Shiva Rajkumar is also a famous and famous Kannada star.

Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar passed away on Friday, 29 October 2021 due to a fatal cardiac arrest. The actor was reportedly working out at his gym when he complained of chest pain and was later rushed to the hospital. Puneet was later admitted to Vikram Hospital and was undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit, but despite the aggressive efforts of the medical staff, Puneeth Rajkumar left the world.
