Puneeth Rajkumar, colloquially known as Appu, worked mostly in Kannada cinema. He won the National Film Award for Best Child Actor for his role in Ramu. Born on March 17, 1975, Puneeth, popularly known as Appu, was brought up in Chennai. His father’s name was Rajkumar and mother’s name was Parvathamma Rajkumar. Rajkumar’s father was an actor by profession and his mother famous Kannada star Parvathamma Rajkumar was a film producer and distributor. He was the fifth and youngest child in their household.
Apart from Rajkumar, he has two brothers named Shiva Rajkumar who is an actor and singer by profession and his other brother’s name is Raghavendra Rajkumar, who is a film producer and actor. Apart from this, he also has two sisters Lakshmi, Poornima in his family.
